Launching a Digital Signage Software platform aimed at creatives, designers and advertising content creators. It allows developing touchless interactive animations, transforming a video projection screen into an interactive system by means of augmented reality techniques. The user can treat the content as if it were a catalog and start turning pages through the gestures of his/her hands, play with interactive elements and receive messages (both advertising and informational) in terms of demographic segmentation criteria such as gender (male, female).

aiSense PRO SDK allows connecting the digital animations virtual world with the physical world (augmented reality). The platform provides an interface and a set of functions for creativities made in Flash format that interact with the user through their gestures and movements, as well as features extracted from facial analysis.

The designer can create responses to events in a simple manner similar to the functions used to interact with the mouse or keyboard.

The use of cameras with interactive purposes has three main advantages:

  1. Reduction of hardware costs: In big format display surfaces, touchfoils techniques turn up to be expensive.
  2. Functionality: A vast majority of screens/display are beyond the user’s reach, making impossible touching the display for interaction purposes. There are several reasons such as: screen visibility maximisation, anti-vandalism, etc.
  3. Persistence of the advertising impact: By means of computer vision techniques it is possible to process the user’s gestures in order to obtain a communication code between him/her and the information system. Thanks to that, a simple camera sensor allows touchless interactions in a wide range of distances, making messages to have a higher level of impact on the audience and making brand awareness more effective.
